The Flying Heart Series.

Birthday with Papa.

Here we are in Woodstock this past weekend.  We went and surprised Papa for his birthday.  I think we did good, because he was definitely surprised.  Booboo had a lovely time and we finally managed to catch her on camera with her grandparents.

Booboo on film.

I know this video is sideways--I keep reminding myself not to take sideways videos, but sometimes I forget.  But it was such a sweet little snippet, I decided to put it on anyway.  Just Booboo playing with her eggs, mostly.  Enjoy.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Photo montage of Booboo in her new irish inspired dress...(Compliments of Gma M and Gpa B!)

not sure about the hat, mom.  But I'm standing.  That's new, right?

How long do I have to pose, anyway?

It's fun for twirling!

Can we try it without the hat?

Much better!

Comfy jammies, upside down, even better!

How did you spend your St. Patty's Day?

Spring Ahead.

Hope ya'll set your clocks ahead.  Here it is, Daylight Savings time already.  It will be nice to have some more daylight in the evening hours.

We have been trying to keep flowers around, since Gma Lala (West coast woman that she is) is used to a little color this time a year, and is in a bit of green withdrawal.

Happy Spring!

Reading w/ Mama.

Look at all these fun colors!

Snow Day.

Today it's around 60 degrees outside.  The plants (and all of us) don't know what to think, especially since just Monday was a snow day!  Is it global warming, or just wacky east coast early spring weather??  At any rate, a day off is always luuurvely...

To each his/her own...

The snow fell thick all day...(about 8 inches in all.)

A cookie for you!

A Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago was the shower of my good friend, W.  A perfect excuse to head to NYC for the day and have Booboo meet some of my old buddies, and show her Mommy and Daddy's old stomping grounds.  It was wonderful to see everyone, and Booboo (after an initial freakout) was a quite a charming party guest.

Shower Guests and old friends reconnect.
(J and I play, wasn't this just us a few months ago?!!)

After an initial reaction of "aaaack!  who are these people??  and holding taggie and Bobo very tightly in proper defense, Booboo relaxes, (grapes help!) and settles in to be quite the life of the party.   Playing peekaboo with guests, and being her chatty self.

The Dancer Prepares.  (Mr. T's worst nightmare.)

We'll be thinking of you in early April, W!  Congrats, again!
