Water.

The best part of Longwood--the Indoor Children's Garden--water everywhere!  We brought an extra change of clothes for Booboo, knowing what a water girl she is.

Flower Child.

A Year and a Half!

Booboo is 18 months today! Easter pics to follow soon...
That means it's Auntie A's Birthday! (Happy Birthday, Sweetie!)
Easter was a festive but solemn affair. Lots to think about with colored eggs, walking to the egg, bending down to pick up the egg, (did I mention that this child overthinks everything?? Isn't that a traditional libra trait?--any of you libras care to comment?) I'll try to post pictures tonight. It will give me one more way to procrastinate on my taxes!!

Dyeing Eggs.

Egg in the grass.  (It's hiding.  Can't you tell?)

Festive egg shot.  (we grew real grass for the baskets.)

Happy Easter Everyone!

Cherry Blossom Festival.

Lala, Booboo and I met C & D and some of their friends at the Cherry Blossom Festival today. We couldn't believe how many people were there!  It was a gorgeous day, so the place was packed, but with enough outside space for it to still feel relaxing.  D spent years in Japan, so he is the resident expert.  He is also an amazing chef and brought quite a spread, well-enjoyed by all.  Lala wasn't feeling well, so we left a little early.  We hope she's feeling better soon!  We'll save the japanese tea house for another time.

Oh!  and Booboo took her first real steps by herself today.  About 3 feet from Dada to Mama.  "Step step, step step!"  Lookout world, here she comes!
