Les Visiteurs.

Chez Tea has been a busy place lately, with visits from family and old friends.

Gpa B and Gammy visited for a week, taking care of Booboo so Gma Lala could go visiting Pennsylvania with her friend, M.  M I consider as one of my "other mothers," after many summers and special occasions spent with our two families growing up.  It was wonderful to be able to welcome her into my home, and just to hear her laugh took me back to so many wonderful 4th of July barbecues, camping trips to Chelan, etc.  Such a dear part of my childhood.

Booboo took to Gpa B and Gammy quickly, and they got to go to our favorite spot (the Children's Museum) as well as a trip to the zoo on Gpa B's birthday.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of them while they were around, (the camera was always dead on juice, or just not available.) but Gammy is a prolific picture taker, so I'm sure we'll get some up soon from their time here.

Houston, we have liftoff.

Life is  a new experience at the Tea household, with a newly mobile member of the family.  It is very exciting to finally see Booboo exploring the world with her own two feet.  Previously forbidden areas are now accessible, much to her delight.  I think particularly of the kitchen--one look at the old broken tiles would confirm that they are no place for a crawler.  They are now the home of the "ABCD's," Booboo's new and exciting discovery.  She has spent more than one afternoon transferring the alphabet, letter by letter, from the fridge to the stove, and back.
